My name is Roger "Doc" Handley. I have always loved palm trees, but they do not survive very well where I live. I tried for years to find an attractive outdoor artificial palm tree that would be durable and affordable. But, the only ones I could find were terribly expensive, not for outdoor use, not very pretty, or all three!
When I retired as dean of a community college, I knew exactly what I wanted to do--manufacture outdoor artificial palm trees that I would be proud to own, and that someone like me could afford to buy. After literally scouring the world for attractive, affordable, weather-resistant fronds, and developing my own technique for carving and coloring preserved wood trunks, I was able to design a tree that measured up to my own stringent specifications. DELIVERY CHARGES AND APPLICABLE TAXES
Delivery is available throughout the continental United States via common carrier. I also deliver and install anywhere in Fayette, Tuscaloosa, or Walker County, Alabama for $65.00 (plus $30.00 for each additional tree). If you live outside this three-county area, please e-mail your Zip Code to me and I will calculate delivery charges to your home via common carrier.
The delivery fee is the common carrier charge plus $6.00 per tree for packing and handling. The delivery fee to businesses in the Southeast US averages $85.00 for the first tree and $10.00 for each additional tree; the delivery fee to homes in the Southeast US averages $140.00 for the first tree and $10.00 for each additional tree. (If you do not have a business address, maybe a nearby business will accept delivery for you. Please note that only "storefront" businesses with regular business hours qualify for the business rate.)
Eight and "nine" (i.e., 8'11") foot trees (and shorter trees, which are available) can be shipped by Fed Ex, which costs less than truck delivery. The average Fed Ex cost is $46.00 per tree for shipment to either a home or business within 500 miles of Alabama.
Fayette County, Alabama residents must pay 6% sales tax; all other Alabama residents pay 4% sales tax. Customers outside of Alabama do not pay sales tax.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
You may pay by personal check, credit card, bank transfer, or certified check (if you wish to avoid delay for personal check clearance). Please do not mail cash! Credit card and bank transfer payments should be made via the PayPal internet payment service.
