My name is Roger "Doc" Handley. I have always loved palm trees, but they do not survive very well where I live. I tried for years to find an attractive outdoor artificial palm tree that would be durable and affordable. But, the only ones I could find were terribly expensive, not for outdoor use, not very pretty, or all three!
When I retired as dean of a community college, I knew exactly what I wanted to do--manufacture outdoor artificial palm trees that I would be proud to own, and that someone like me could afford to buy. After literally scouring the world for attractive, affordable, weather-resistant fronds, and developing my own technique for carving and coloring preserved wood trunks, I was able to design a tree that measured up to my own stringent specifications. DELIVERY CHARGES AND APPLICABLE TAXES
Delivery is available throughout the continental United States via common carrier. Please e-mail your Zip Code to me, along with the number and sizes of trees you are considering, and I will calculate exact delivery charges to your home or business.
Trees with trunks 8'10" or shorter can be delivered inexpensively via Fed Ex to most points in the continental USA. Trees with trunks 10' or longer have to be delivered via Old Dominion Freight Line. Old Dominion and other trucking companies have a high minimum charge and a high residential delivery surcharge. One-tree shipments via Old Dominion are relatively expensive, but shipments of three or more trees via Old Dominion are much less expensive on a cost-per-tree basis.
